Description

The Rosy Tetra Hyphessobrycon rosaceus is a fun addition to a peaceful community aquarium with other smaller fishes. It has the deep-bodied shape of larger tetras, like the Bleeding Heart Tetra. This pretty little tetra has a pale silver/salmon-colored body highlighted with red accents and bright white tips on the fins. Hence, it is also known as the Rosy Fin Tetra, White-Finned Rosy Tetra, and Rosey Tetra.

Rosy Tetras are a good companion to our Stendker discus in larger aquariums, preferably as a group of 10 or more.

Fish Size Guide:

The ‘Maximum Size’ outlined below is the length this fish can reach as a full grown adult. For the actual size please use the select menu above.

Discus.ae prefers younger stock for their better ability to adapt to new water parameters and higher tolerance against transport. On rare occasions you may receive larger specimens when small fish are unavailable, however the smallest should be expected unless the size is noted as “Large” or “Adult”.
